INFOAM XPS INSULATION BOARDS

‘INFOAM’ is an Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) rigid board used for thermal insulation. It is produced from general purpose polystyrene by the process of extrusion. These extruded sheets have a closed-cell structure and virtually no air-voids in between the cells. Globally XPS has been widely used for thermal insulation since the last 40 years. It is acknowledged to be one of the best ‘value-for-money’ thermal insulation materials. 
Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) Insulation is a closed cell, moisture-resistant rigid foam board well suited to meet the needs for a wide variety of building applications.
INFOAM insulation is great for many residential and commercial construction applications such as wall furring, perimeter/foundation, and cavity wall, pre-cast concrete, under slab, crawl spaces, sheathing and other applications.
INFOAM is a CFC & HCFC Free Environmental Friendly Insulation product with Zero ODP & very low GWP.
INFOAM insulation boards play an important role to achieving “green” or “sustainable” goals, regardless of how these terms may be defined.

Finished boards for thermal insulation primarily use in refrigeration and building applications in the temperature range – 150°C to 80°C.

Bulk Density –
The bulk density of the material, calculated at nominal thickness, excluding facing, shall be 32 kg/m3, a tolerance of 5% shall be allowed on bulk density.

Dimensions –
Size – In the case of finished boards, the size shall be 1.25 m x 0.6 m or as agreed to between the purchaser and the supplier. 

Thickness –
The material shall be supplied in thicknesses of 25, 40, 50, 60 and 75 mm unless otherwise agreed to between the purchaser and the supplier.

Tolerance –
The tolerance on the dimensions of the finished boards, blocks and pipe sections/segments shall be as given below. For other shapes, they shall be as agreed to between the purchaser and the supplier.
Finished Boards and Blocks Tolerance Length, width and thickness +/-2mm

Thermal Conductivity – The Thermal conductivity at 0 and 10 °C, respectively of the material shall not exceed the values given below when determined in accordance with the method prescribed in IS:3346/ IS 9489/ ASTM C 518 / ISO 8301.
