INSOUND® - FLOOR MAT
- INSOUND FLOOR MAT is medium density, high performance membrane that offers an excellent level of sound isolation for impact noise. It works as a barrier for vibration transmission.
- INSOUND® FLOOR MAT is composition of Ethylene propylene Diene Monomer Rubber (EPDM) & Polyurethane (PU).

INSOUND® FLOOR MAT APPLICATION AREA:
1) GYM FLOOR:
- In most of gymnasium, walls are empty or finished with hard surfaces like mirror. Ceiling and floor are also mostly reflective surfaces. So when heavy object impact on hard floor then due to vibration sound wave is generated and it keeps on bouncing from one reflective surface to other. Sound in the form of vibration transmit from one structure to another structure and then from structure to air. It creates acoustic discomfort for peoples in gymnasium.
- Best and effective solution for this problem is INSOUND FLOOR MAT as it has very good damping properties. Applying INSOUND® Floor Mat on the floor drastically reduces the effect of the impact by reducing vibration transmission which is source of generation of sound.
2) PUB/ DISCO FLOOR:
- In Pub/disco, due to simultaneous impact of peoples foot on floor vibration and sound is created. Also, there is loud and heavy music in pub/disco. When it hits the floor it may creates echo and other acoustic defects.
