INSERA® - THERMAL - ACOUSTIC - FIRE
- INSERA™ is white wool blanket manufactured from polycrystalline materials. Alumina & silica are used as a raw material for manufacturing of white wool blanket
- It is having high temperature stability, low thermal conductivity, good sound absorption, excellent thermal shock resistance, light weight & superior corrosion resistance.
- It is completely inorganic & available with TAF grade and available in various densities, sizes & thicknesses.
- It is highly durable continuous blanket with no added organic constituents & binders.

INSERA® TAF APPLICATION AREA:
BANQUETS/COMMUNITY HALL:
- The purpose of Banquets/community halls is to host gatherings of people for a ceremony, celebration or for any other purpose.
- As there will be large number of people gathered inside the hall, the hall will require more energy consumption to provide thermal comfort to the occupants, also due to large gatherings of people there will be unwanted noise producing echo inside the hall creating an inappropriate acoustic ambience inside the hall.
- INSERA TAF having low thermal conductivity will help in maintaining temperature inside the hall thereby reducing energy consumption of hall when fixed on the wall with framing.
- INSERA TAF having good sound absorption coefficient will provide a good acoustic ambience inside the hall by preventing the echo inside the hall when fixed on the wall with help of framing.
- INSERA TAF having good fire resistance rating will also help in preventing the spread of fire in case of any fire outbreak inside the hall.
THEATRES:
- Theatres are meant to be built for entertainment purpose of the people. As large number of people accommodate inside the theatre, it will require more energy to provide thermal comfort to occupants.
- Also, if soundproofing of theatres is not done properly than there are chances of producing echo inside the theatre hall, creating an in appropriate acoustic ambience inside the hall.
- INSERA TAF having low thermal conductivity will help in maintaining temperature inside the theatre hall thereby reducing energy consumption of hall when fixed on the wall with framing.
- INSERA TAF having good sound absorption coefficient will provide a good acoustic ambience inside the theatre hall by preventing the echo, when fixed on the wall with help of framing & INSOUND® polyboard as a finishing material over it.
- INSERA TAF having good fire resistance rating will also help in preventing the spread of fire in case of any fire outbreak inside the theatre hall.
SAUNA BATH AREA:
- SAUNA room is made up of wooden partition designed to experience dry/wet heat sessions for relaxation purpose.
- The operating temperatures of sauna bath area ranges from 65°C to 90°C. If they are not insulated thermally then there are chances heat transfer taking place between sauna bath area & other rooms.
- INSERA TAF helps the sauna room to heat up more quickly by reducing heat transfers from SAUNA room to other rooms and it also protects the surrounding building materials and other ancillaries from the SAUNA's heat.
- As the sauna bath area generates heat, it should also be made fire safe as there are chances of fire.
- INSERA TAF being a Non-Combustible material & having good fire resistance rating will help in reducing spread of fire in the area in case of any hazardous fire situations.
HOT WATER/SOLAR PIPELINE
- Pipes made up of PLP, UPVC, CPVC, SS, GI, MS available in the market & used for carrying water from one end to the other end through long distances in buildings, industries, factories, offices, gyms, hostels, hotels, hospitals, etc.
- In case of solar water heater application situated at the top of the building, top floor might receive hot water but the ground floor receives little colder water due to heat transfer throughout pipeline length & end user does not get expected temperature of water at the end.
- THERMAL-ACOUSTIC-FIRE INSERA TAF has excellent fire property as it is non-combustible material. It does not burn if exposed to fire & has very low smoke developed index and flame spread index which complies with international standards.
- INSERA® TAF also helps in reducing the nois coming from hot water pipelines or its vibrations & makes the surrounding comparatively noise free.
- INSERA TAF wrap around hot water pipelines reduces heat loss to surrounding and helps in maintaining temperature of hot water throughout length of pipe so that hot water entere at the start of pipe at some temperature will stay at the required temperature at the end of pipe by reducing heat transfer throughout length and won't ge affected much by the ambient temperature.
- INSERA TAF also provides personnel protection by preventing risk of injury to workers due to physical contact in case of hot water pipelines are installed in working areas by keeping surface temperature of insulation material in safe range that complies with international standards.
FLOOR INSULATION APPLICATION:
- In various residential & commercial applications, in order to reduce floor noise, materials having good acoustic properties are installed to reduce sound transmission significantly from one floor to other.
- Also there are chances of heat transfer from the floor if it is not insulated thermally, providing discomfort to the occupants.
- In case of fire there are chances that it may spread from the one compartment to the other via floor, if the floor is not made fireproof.
- INSERA TAF having good sound absorption coefficient & STC value shall be fixed on the floors of these buildings with the help of wooden/metal framing to reduce sound transmission providing a quite living or working environment.
- INSERA TAF having low thermal conductivity will prevent heat transfer from the floor providing thermal comfort to occupants & reducing energy consumption.
- INSERA® TAF being a Non-Combustible material & having good fire resistance rating will help in reducing spread of fire from one compartment to other via floor when applied on floor with framing.
PARTITION WALL:
- Many commercial and residential buildings possess such critical rooms which are required to safeguard from fire, to maintain temperature for energy saving for which thermal insulation is required & also require a good acoustic ambience.
- In order to achieve this thermo-acoustic-fire application the partition walls of these rooms are made in such a way that it will provide thermal comfort to the occupants inside the room, will absorb the sound & prevent echo inside the room as well as safeguard the room from the fire.
- TAF having low thermal conductivity, high temperature sustainability & good sound absorption coefficient shall be fixed on the partition walls of the room to provide thermal comfort to occupants, good acoustic ambience by preventing echo as well as protection from fire.
