INSERA™ - FIRE WRAPS
- INSERAT™ Fire wraps is a fire rated Wool, wrapped in fire resistant bags which gives good fire performance.
- It is having Good fire resistance rating, low thermal conductivity, light weight & superior corrosion resistance.
- As the core material is wrapped & not adhered to the outer material, the wrapping and slumping of fire wraps over the ducts can be done easily
- It is completely inorganic & Asbestos free.

INSERAT™ FIRE WRAPS APPLICATION AREA:
KITCHEN EXHAUST DUCT:
- Kitchen exhaust ducts are used to release grease, smoke and other toxic gases from cooking equipments to outside of a building in order to maintain indoor air quality. Commercial kitchens may have hood over the cooking area and due to its constant exposure to flame and smoke, it gets heated up. A flame flares up on the stove and gets in contact with hood. Since the exhaust fan is continuously drawing air into the hood through filters and duct, it will also draw flame along with it.
- These air will have grease residue and will act as a fuel and causes fire inside the duct which will eventually pass into the exhaust fan connected to motors & electrical wiring causing them to ignite.
- INSERA™ fire wraps are wrapped over these ducts to resist fire spread for specific period of time.
- INSERA™ fire wraps has very low smoke developed index and flame spread index which complies with international standards
KITCHEN EXHAUST DUCT:
- Sometimes storage tanks are used to store flammable fluids. Storage tanks can be either moving or stationary. These fluids are very prone to fire hence it becomes very important to safeguard the storage tanks from fire.
- INSERAT™ fire wraps are wrapped over these Storage tanks to prevent stored fluids from catching fire.
CABLE TRAYS :
- Cable trays are a mechanical support system running overhead or underfloor which are used to support electrical cables used for power distribution, control, & communication.
- As these cables are used to transfer high amount of electric power there are chances of short circuit which may lead to fire.
- Also the cables may catch fire due to any external cause of fire from the surrounding, which may create a hazardous situation.
- INSERA™ fire wraps are wrapped over these cable trays to prevent spreading of fire from cables to surrounding or vice versa.
FIREWALL OF DATA CENTRES/SERVER ROOM:
- Server room is any space provided in a business that is devoted to storing data storage servers and computer networking devices.
